A Round up of Some Good Things
1. After family dinner sometimes my nephew hugs me and says he loves me.
2. I'm about to read Small Things Like These, which I do every year around this time, and it always reaffirms my faith in humanity, lifts my spirits.
3. I found a really good bottle of rum.
4. The other day a red-tailed hawk landed on our balcony and my wife and I stood shoulder to shoulder for about 10 minutes and watched it watching us.
5. Cookies
Those are some good things.
I’m reading Foster now.
What’s the rum?
It’s perfectly OK not to be endlessly positive. It’s the contrast between emotions that makes life varied and interesting!
"People's Choice" is so apropos. Four languages printed on the awning. Mom & Pop shops usually name a business after the street or avenue, or how they approach the work they do.
Nice to see. If I were in the neighborhood, I'd use them for my meds.
Cheers!
They are just a little too far from me to make it my spot, but I probably should anyway, as I keep going over there to photograph it.
Very curious for your People Choice photos.
Thanks Marcel.
People demand more People Choice!
I should have enough pretty soon.
