Every year, in early summer, while driving on I-95 through New Haven, a small traveling carnival appears.
Love these. Remind me to tell you about my own love-hate affair with the local carnival of my youth. I could see the midway's glowing lights from my bedroom windows at night, could hear the carnival barker down in the valley.
I’m almost certain I went to that carnival with you at least once
"There’s something perfect about experiencing a carnival from a distance,"
I go in sometimes, but I still feel distant. Maybe it's because my camera is in between me and it.
I do the same. In this case a quick, intense rain had nearly cleared the place out so I was able to get a new perspective.
LOVE the dusk quality of the images. It heightens the overall storytelling.
Thank you Juan! Appreciate that.
